It was my honor and privilege to document a full honors ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery a couple weeks ago. This Air Force Col. was a highly decorated prisoner of war as well as one of the most beautiful people I ever had the privilege of knowing. I wanted to put it on my blog because he was to me like family, he has been in my life since I was about Six. I remember him as a kind and gentle presence with a cigar in his hand and a smile on his face and a wicked sense of humor. This is how I will remember him, with a smile on his face.

Lisabeth,
With such reverence and respect, only YOU could have honored his memory with such perfect photographs. Your heart shows through all your 'work' -- thank you for sharing it with us all.
Lis I love these shots, especially the one with the bagpiper by himself. Truly powerful!
